Under the authority of the Department of Homeland Security and possibly the New World Order, the county did close all roads to public travel. I saw a couple of neighbors in old pickup trucks head towards town awhile ago and wondered if they’d make it past the barricades.

Traditional blowguns took down big game, not just birds and rats, but primitive hunters only managed this feat by combining darts with poison. That’s where the blowgun shines, because you can hit a large target easily, even if you aren’t very good.

As far as the end-of-the-world thing goes, I expect that at the end of the world you’ll have plenty of debris around and you won’t need to worry about running out of fuel for campfires. Most of civilization burns pretty good.
