Tree of Fire and Castle of Wonders
Still no magical dreaming, but definitely more interesting dreaming. And still there are signs that forces are at work, even if they take more normal form.
I was at the edge of a large body of water, chest deep in the small waves but right at the point where the bottom drops away. I held the ropes to four canoes and worried about my partner, who was several yards away speaking to a group of floating people. A very heavy fog began to roll in and my worry increased by an order of magnitude. I began to shout for him to return. I was concerned he’d be lost in the soupy mess and I’d not get to him in time if there was trouble.
A short time later, I was ashore. The group there was trying to get a fire started. I sat down and began to fan the materials. Air was also coming back under my skirt and the fire started underneath me. Definitely an interesting energy sign. I felt bad, though, because the fire was so intense that it caught quickly and spread to a nearby tree, high into the branches, and there was no way to put it out and help the tree.
The next dream was one of my grand adventure dreams. I was traveling the countryside and in the middle of nowhere, a rich man built a grand castle. I stopped because I have a great respect and awe for castles. I was informed that it had been constructed and furnished for traveling children as a sort of fantasy come true.
I thought they would let me stay but that I wouldn’t be able to enjoy the fantasy parts, yet as soon as things settled down a bit, I was off exploring hundreds of rooms and no one said a word.
The place was vast and I easily could have gotten deep inside and gone without notice. Each room was different, but each was filled with games, toys, and candy. Some had hidden areas, others had themes and would be packed with bicycles of all sizes or watercraft. At the back, a few opened onto the shore.
My plan was to search each room in order, only it didn’t work out exactly like that. There were other people there and I sometimes skipped rooms where they’d been. I felt there might be a larger secret inside. I wondered how and when they would clean up from all of the searching, playing and mess, if they nearly always replaced the items with new, wrapped ones.
